When You Have Dreams…

It is a classic thing when we were little, to be asked what our dreams are. The most boring thing was that when they taught us that dreams are more like a position, namely a doctor, engineer, artist, etc.

As soon as I grow up, dreams are not as simple as just saying I want to be a doctor. The dream itself has a broader meaning and vast spectrum. In the old days, my dream was to be a psychologist. But now, it has been thriving into something like, has a nice house, gets a nice job, travels around the world, lives my life financially stable, has a loving husband and kids.

I know that all of it is depends on the self-development and self-confidence. I am working on it. But in the past 8 months, I have been thinking about the idea of life, why my life like this and that, tried to blame everything around me.

But now, I kinda understand how to deal with life, especially how to deal with those dreams. The thing is that, when you are brave to have dreams, you also need the bravery to not have them. It sounds so strange, but it is what it is. We don’t have to get all the desire we want. We could never fulfill our dream all the time. Sometimes, what we need is surrender. And that’s the key to deal with life.
